Gangelt and the surrounding area
Our beautiful village Gangelt is located in the western tip of the Federal Republic and belongs to the tourist region "Der Selfkant".
In addition to a well-preserved historical center, Gangelt offers a wonderful nature reserve with great flora and fauna and a scenic environment.
Here you can go for a great walk, go cycling, enjoy nature or just let your mind wander.
In addition to a great outdoor pool with a large slide, there is the possibility of mini golf or a boat trip on the boat pond.
Gangelt is right on the border with the Netherlands and in the Rodebachtal the transition to Limburg is almost seamless. You are also directly in the Schinvelder Bos and in the Brunssumer Heide with beautiful nature.
